Center for Geometric Analysis and Data
The Center for Geometric Analysis and Data is a collective of mathematicians, both faculty and students, at Washington State University and University of Idaho, as well as other universities and labs. The dual focus of this center is on geometric analysis and the application of insights from geometric analysis to challenging data analysis problems through advances in computational methods, many of which involve optimization. One of the key ideas of the center is that small is beautiful: we hope to eventually inspire a whole clutch of centers and institutes that we cooperate with closely, each with a few lead members and many associate members.
Check out our vision statement. Feel free to participate in our intensive data focused workshops, attend lectures we give or sponsor, and meet visitors we bring here. You might want to check out some cool science or see what our members are doing.
